The Sorbera family has managed the Torrefazione Caffè Columbia in Gioiosa Marea for almost 40 years. In the renovated rooms of Via Roma there is also a bar area able to offer the entire coffee cycle, from roasting to espresso preparation. Here you can find also a great selection of wine, distil and other sicilian tipical products like pistachio cream or hazelnuts biscuits.

The Torrefazione Caffè Columbia was born in Gioiosa Marea in 1980 by the will of the founder, Tindaro Sorbera. Today the family's tradition continue with the help of his son Nicola: “We select first-choice raw coffees from South America, central Africa and some parts of Asia, which are individually roasted in order to respect the roasting times of the different types of coffee. Respect for the raw material is a guarantee of quality of our blends." The perfect combination of a single coffee origin and blend allows them to offer a unique coffee, with an original and unmistakable aroma.
