Municipal Art Gallery Tano Zancanaro

The municipal art gallery, named after the Paduan artist Tano Zancanaro, was born with the first edition of the historic exhibition Life and Landscape of Capo d 'Orlando of 1955, an initiative that allowed the Municipality to acquire a collection of modern and contemporary art with respectable names. The editions of the exhibition were attended by important artists at national and international level such as Giuseppe Migneco, Emilio Isgrò, Horacio Agola and Josè Hortega. In the Pinacoteca building there is today, in addition to the official permanent collection, the LOC space (Orlando Contemporaneo Laboratory) which hosts exhibitions and residences of artists of the contemporary panorama.
