Church of SS. Madonna of the Annunciation - Ucria

Crossing a suggestive labyrinth of alleys and alleys, you reach the Church of SS. Madonna dell'Annunziata, built towards the end of the 14th century and rebuilt in the 16th by the Franciscan friars. Of particular value is the sandstone portal which reproduces figures of angels and lions. The marble group of the Annunciation, from the 16th century, is a work attributed to the Palermo sculptor Antonio Gagini. The bell tower of the church was built in Arab-Norman style. The church has been recently restored.
