Antonino Gullotti Ethnostorical Museum of Nebrodi

Founded in 1985, the Ethnostorical Museum of the Nebrodi Antonino Gullotti, collects finds of the peasant and pastoral tradition of the Nebrodi that document the main activities practiced in the past on these Mountains: from breeding to agriculture, from sheep farming to stone processing up to trades of the shoemaker and barber. Space also for the female world with utensils related to the preparation of preserves, bread processing and weaving. The Ethnostorical Museum, the oldest in the municipality of Ucria, was strongly desired by Professor Aurelio Rigoli, an internationally renowned Ukrainian anthropologist, to testify and pass on life to future generations in the small towns of the Nebrodi Mountains.
