Since 1967, Capizzi’s Pastry Shop has been a reference point for sweets lovers. Besides the classic Sicilian specialties, from cassata to cannoli, other sublime products that deserve to be mentioned are: almond pastries, biscuits, ice-creams and cakes with different and unforgettable flavours.

In the small village of Gioiosa Marea, on a stretch of coast that overlooks the Tyrrhenian Sea, in front of the Aeolian Islands, there is Capizzi’s Pastry Shop, where, every day for three generations now, pastry chefs have been inebriating the old town streets with yummy perfumes. This family-run Shop works in the spirit of quality, professionalism and courtesy. The laboratory offers classic Sicilian pastries in accordance with traditional local pastry art. There is a wide range of choice among the things that you can taste: stuffed-at-the-moment desserts, personalized ice creams and cakes, a long and inviting list of pastries with unique aromas and flavours. The family specialties are paste di mandorla, that is ‘almond pastes’, among the most popular and renowned in the area. They are made following an ancient recipe that has been handed down from father to son for over fifty years.
