Church of San Francesco di Paola - Sant'Angelo di Brolo

Built in the second half of the 16th century, the Church of San Francesco di Paola was annexed to the Convent of the Minims, a mendicant monastic order. The sacred building has a Renaissance-style portal characterized by the presence of two columns supporting a horizontal structure (entablature), at the base of the bas-relief of the statue of San Francesco. The interior of the church, with a single nave, is embellished with two worked marble altars. You can admire the marble sarcophagus of 1600 by Giovanni Domenico Ceraolo, founder of the Convent and a wooden statuette from the 1700s of San Francesco di Paola
